Medstar donates an AED to the Novi Chamber of Commerce

The Novi Chamber of Commerce were awarded an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) through the Shock and Save Initiative. Jenn Ludwig, the Chamber’s Member Manager, responded to a Medstar social media post about the Initiative and applied for the mini-grant.
Northern Operations Manager, Jeremy Compau, made the presentation to Chamber President, Katie Chuba, Membership Manager, Jenn Ludwig and Operations & Events Coordinator, Anita McClure. They were joined by Novi Fire Chief, John Martin and Chief Erick Zinser, the Director or Public Safety. Centrally located on Main Street in the heart of the business district, this AED will be accesible to the public during business hours and during special events held in the district. Its a welcomed member to the business community.
Through these donations, Medstar continues its’ mission of increasing cardiac arrest survival by placing AEDs in the communities Medstar serves.
